Profile Description
Dr. Mila Belgrade is a Board Certified pediatric dentist, specializing in the treatment of infants, children, adolescents, and patients with special needs. Dr. Mila believes that childhood is the best time to instill good habits that will persist into adulthood. Most importantly, she is passionate about making sure each child has a positive, pleasant, and fun filled experience at the dentist; building lasting memories, and a relationship of trust. Dr. Mila is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (ABPD), and a recipient of a prestigious Richard C. Pugh Achievement Award, scoring in the top 3% of all candidates who took the ABPD written board examination. Dr. Mila specialized in Pediatric Dentistry at Maimonides Medical Center, where she received extensive training treating children in an office setting, under conscious sedation, as well as in an operating room. During her second year, she was selected to be a Chief resident. Prior to specializing, Dr. Mila completed two years of General Practice Residency (GPR) at Montefiore Medical Center, spending her second year focusing on complex cases and implantology. Dr. Mila earned her dental degree (DMD) at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) after graduating from Brooklyn College with honors and degrees in Psychology and Chemistry. Dr. Belgrade is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. When Dr. Mila is not practicing in the office, she spends her time with her husband, daughter, family, and friends. She enjoys hiking, swimming, bowling, Krav Maga, and traveling.
