Dr Pritchett was awarded the Outstanding Research Award for his master’s thesis on pain perception. Since then he has been awarded membership in the American College of Dentists and International College of Dentists for Leadership and Service in the dental field. Acceptance of membership in these groups is less than 2% of the dentists nationally and worldwide. He has been active in leadership in several dental organizations. He is the past president of the Indiana Foundation for Dentistry for the Handicapped, an organization that has donated over 20 million dollars worth of dentistry for the state of Indiana to date.
